This early morning while checking my emails in bed ( yup I'm that kind of freak),I saw THAT mail : The net-a-porter international Sale had started.I was eagerly waiting for this sale to happen because well, it's one of my favorite online shops and their sale section is usually one of the best.
People seemed to go so crazy when this red SALE sign popped up,because their website even crashed down during the wee hours.There was no way to access the site for some minutes.
I could already imagine some shopaholics waiting to get off in the starting blocks and then totally freaking out with shivering,sweaty hands because the site wasn't working.Haha
Enough of the wickedness,here is a tiny selection of my favorites from this seasons sale,including online shops like Luisaviaroma, Stylebop and Mytheresa and Net-a-porter

Favorite summer shoe-style

Wedges are my favorite shoe-style for summer.They are elegant due to the height and comfortable because you do not walk on one thin stick. Do I have to mention that they are very versatile as well? Worn with a jeans and a blazer they make a great casual business look while in combination with a white crochet dress they are perfect for a hot summer nights out.

Different heights and materials make it easy to find the right pair for every occasion.I use the most high usually for evenings in a restaurant or bar when there's not too much walking involved.The pink ones are such a delight for my feet that i can easily wear them from 9 to 5,just as the studded espadrilles wedge.

If I could I would add these Jimmy Choos and these Tosca Wedges from Christian Louboutin to my wedge collection.Tory Burch has some cute ones just like Sam Edelmann. For the total Espadrilles look,there's this model from Steve Madden.

But a girl can dream right ? :) (and there's still the sales ;) )

In the meadow

Even though I'm allergic as hell to grass pollen,I wanted to take my outfit pictures in this meadow situated next to the restaurant where I had lunch with my grandma. So I was sneezing my day around in this checkered blouse from Hollister and a pair of Gilly Hicks jeans.
Tonight I'll have dinner with David at Sobogusto in Luxembourg and I already had in mind what to wear but now that is raining again this outfit will not take place ;)

A blue Statement

Chunky necklaces on top of a blouse,or in this case a denim shirt,are such a hit. I came across some other lovely necklaces at Primark in Saarbrücken today and if you check out my instagram ( @fashionbarbecue) there's already a photo of my accessory haul.
I think statement jewelry is here to stay no matter if necklaces or rings. And all that armcandy,seen on various blogs,is also kind of a statement right?
I'm still a fan of chunky huge rings like the Arty from good old Yves Saint Laurent. So I'll wear it tomorrow for a lunch with my grandma and sister :)

From heels to flats

From 8to5 I was walking around in my Balenciaga Glove Sandals,which correspond perfectly to the Givenchy Obsedia bracelet.Black leather and shiny hardware harmonize so well in my opinion. Clearly I like to switch between feminine girly colors and more rocking dark tones,so my black watch and pants fit like a glove into todays mood.And if there's one bag which matches 99% of my clothes colors it is Celine in Dune.
After work my sister wanted to grab a frozen yoghurt an that was the moment my feet needed a change,so I slipped into my mouse shoes.A real rehab for my toes ;)

Destroyed Denim

Due to my job I didn't manage to rock my ripped jeans lately.I loved to wear them today for a simple drink with the boyfriend.
To chic things up I added a lightweight pink blouse and the well-known Zara pearl necklace. At the moment one pretty necklace after another appears at Zara. The best one to me is this one and this darling is already on its way to me. Hopefully some of them will go on sale soon.Ah there's nothing better than an awesome zara sale (or sales in general) :)
Are you still fond of the statement necklaces or do you prefer more delicate jewels?
